What is TOO about?
“TOO” inspires us to value our uniqueness and to celebrate our differences. People often criticize others who they consider different from their idea of “normal”. This book encourages a healthy perspective of criticism and an appreciation of others.
Although “TOO” is written and illustrated for children, all of us can benefit from learning to leave those nasty limiting critical remarks in the past, so we can step forward to realize our own unique potential.
Harsh crucial words arrive at everyone’s doorstep at one time or another. How much credibility you give those words matter. “TOO” wants you to understand: “That you are amazing just the way you are.”
About Susan Nuttall
Susan was inspired to write “Too” after retiring as a Probation Officer for 32 years. While working with youth and adults she realized that many suffered from poor self- esteem and a lack of self- confidence. Both of these issues are fueled by criticism and harsh words. The result can be a person’s inability to see their strengths, potential or to appreciate their differences.
Harsh critical words arrive at everybody’s doorstep at one time or another. How much credibility you give those words matter.
Susan lives with her husband, Dana in Chatham, Ontario. Her children, David, Megan and Megan’s husband Patrick live locally as well. Every member of the family supported and encouraged this endeavor. A special thank you to Megan and Patrick, who laid the ground work to make this book happen.
